On April 24th, the beloved consignment boutique will host a big celebration right outside the store, inviting the community to join in on the fun. Known for its upbeat vibe, curated high-end finds, and a focus on making customers feel special, Queenie’s has become a “happy place” for shoppers and staff alike.

From Humble Beginnings to Thriving Success

Queenie’s was born from a leap of faith, when the founder’s daughter encouraged her to “stop talking about it and just do it.” Fast forward 10 years, and the store has evolved into a thriving business with 14 employees, including family members like her daughter, sister and niece.

During the challenges of COVID, Queenie’s demonstrated remarkable resilience—pivoting to online sales, launching Facebook and Instagram Lives, and even taking the time to renovate and refresh the store with fresh paint and wallpaper. Thanks to their dedication and adaptability, the business not only survived but came out stronger!

Curated Style Meets Concierge Service

What sets Queenie’s apart is their carefully curated selection. The store now focuses 80% on clothing, with a high-end couture section featuring designer labels like Gucci, Prada, and Chanel. Fine and gold jewelry and handbags are top sellers, and the store’s selective intake process ensures a premium shopping experience. The front of the store features carefully curated fun and funky furniture and housewares.

Recently, Queenie’s introduced a concierge styling service led by three talented in-house stylists. Launched on March 1st, the service offers personalized shopping experiences to help customers discover the perfect pieces, with options to book via a dedicated email and upcoming Instagram profiles.

Engaging with the Community – One Live at a Time

Queenie’s is also known for their monthly Facebook and Instagram Lives, where 6-7 employees model their favorite items for an hour-long showcase of pre-selected outfits and all items stay on a special rack until Sunday, giving customers a chance to shop them in person.. They also promote “Queenie’s Quicks” on Instagram highlighting new arrivals.

With 7,000 consignors and a growing customer base of over 11,000 loyal shoppers, Queenie’s is more than just a consignment store—it’s a community. Vickie Bracewell, owner of Queenie’s, expresses how proud and grateful she is for her store, saying, "Every year, I think it can't get better — and every year, it does!" As Queenie’s celebrates 10 incredible years, they’re looking forward to continuing to grow, evolve, and bring joy to their loyal community.
